The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) today announced the results for the first and second-year examinations. A total of 60.01 percent of students successfully passed the first-year intermediate test, while the second-year pass rate stood at 68.86 percent, which is almost three percent higher than the 65.01 percent last year.
In the meantime, students who are not happy with their marks can apply for a reassessment. The online window that will be open until June 24 to apply for recounting, re verification-cum-scanned response scripts.
The applicants can apply via the website- tsbie.cgg.gov.in. They will have to pay Rs 100 for recounting paper and Rs 600 for re-verification-cum-scanned response scripts per document.
However, the unsuccessful students must appear for the supplementary exams, the dates of which will be announced later. All who score less than 35 per cent are considered to have failed and, as per board, must reappear for the exam.
The markers will also be forwarded by TSBIE to the corresponding school leaders on 22 June. In the event that a student identifies any discrepancies in the marking sheet, the board will be informed by the principal concerned on or before 17 July.
