Class 10 (Secondary) and Class 12 (Senior Secondary) exams 2020 scheduled for March and scheduled for July 17 are canceled by the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS). In the wake of the spread of the COVID-19 in the region, the NIOS Board reviews 2020. The findings are announced so that students can have vertical mobility based on them. Candidates will be given an opportunity to be provided if and when the condition is favorable in the next public review for tests. The NIOS also issued a note about the assessment method.
In the official twitter manner, HRD ministry announced the annulment of the NIOS Board exams. The report reads “Taking into account the wellbeing of students, the # NIOS public exams scheduled to take place by July 2020 are now canceled and will be held on the basis of the assessment scheme concluded by the qualified @niostwit committee.”
The notice reads: “The average marks obtained in the best three subjects in the subjects for which the student was registered for the examination which did not take place in March-April 2020 will be awarded as theory performances to the intermediate and secondary students with past perforce results in four subjects.
“The TMA and/or practical marks guaranteed by a learner shall be reflected in the statement of marks together with the theory marks,” concluded the communication.
